These changes affect several recruitment drives for the year 2024, including those for Group B and C posts in various sectors such as the Inspector (Librarian), SMT Workshop, Veterinary Staff, Paramedical Staff, Air Wing, Water Wing, and Engineering Setup.
Revised Selection Process for BSF Recruitment
The BSF recruitment process will now follow a phased approach across multiple stages. The first phase includes the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates will undergo the PST to assess their height, chest, and weight according to the physical standards outlined in the advertisement. Those who pass the PST will proceed to the PET, which will evaluate their physical endurance. Only candidates who qualify both these tests will be eligible for the second phase.
The second phase is the written examination. Candidates who successfully clear the PST and PET will be invited to participate in the written examination, which will assess their knowledge and aptitude. The final phase will consist of documentation verification and a medical examination to ensure candidates meet the required health standards for service.
